Charity Glass Designs is a Christian-based jewelry company specializing in cross pendants from different regions of Italy including Venice and Murano. We carry more than 40 types of glass pendants including crosses, hearts, and stars.

Our cross pendants come from Murano, the island off of Venice. These Murano pendants are made of Millefiori glass slices that are fused together in a certain shape and tumbled in a heated kiln of special sands and crushed walnut shells for 24 hours for 7 days. This process rounds out the corners of each cross pendant and gives it a high gloss shine. A silver-colored loop is glued to the backside of the pendant. 18-inch box style sterling silver chains are offered and sold separately.

The mosaic cross pendants and wall crosses are completely handcrafted in Southern Italy. Each cross is made of tiny slices of antique glass from Tuscany, Italy. Pieces that "appear" painted are really two or more colors of glass fused together. Each piece is cut by hand into a flower petal, leaf, or stem. It takes about 15 minutes to mount each piece of glass using tweezers into a stucco adhesive within a brass shape. This technique of glass work dates back more than 1,000 years. 18-inch box style vermeil chains are available to compliment these crosses and are sold separately. Each pendant includes a free gift box.

The mosaic wall cross is a beautiful work of art. The cross is about 6 inches in length and about 3.5 inches in width. This type of wall cross is best presented in a frame or shadow box, although it may be hung on a wall by itself. There are more than 700 tiny slices of glass in each cross. Cross colors come in pink trim, light blue trim, light or dark green trim, black trim, or red trim. These crosses are considered to be museum quality works of art. No two are ever exactly alike. A free black velvet gift box is included.

Wall crosses are generally special order items with 100% deposit required unless we have a couple in stock. It is worth your wait to get one! Average wait time is about 4 to 5 weeks from the time your order is placed to the day it arrives to you in the mail.

Charity Glass Designs also offers beautiful mosaic glass Rosaries. The beads and links of the Rosary are brass with a Byzantine mosaic glass cross. Each "Our Father" bead is made of antique glass from Tuscany, Italy in a brass foundation.

Rosary colors include green, pink, black, red, and blue. You are more than welcome to email us and let us know if you want a light blue glass Rosary or a dark blue one. Rosaries are special order items with a required 100% deposit. Generally, it takes about 4 or 5 weeks from the time of your order to the actual delivery date, but we keep you informed every step of the way.
